Memos
Sometimes when you come into a chat it says you have 1 new memo. If it shows you that type /ms, which will take you to a cool mail box.
Clear
To clear your screen type /clear
To register
Type /ns register password email
View Buddy List
Type /showmodule BuddyList
Images
Type /showmodule ImagePanel
Colors and sounds
If you want a sound to be played every time you say something (very helpful and highly recommended) Type one of these codes, and your colors and copy them. Then paste them every time you say something! Don't forget to get registered if you haven't already done so. (See news 2/26/02) :-D Here is the list of sounds:
/sound bell
/sound join
/sound crash
/sound cuckoo
/sound door
/sound drip
/sound notice
/sound train
/sound scoping

Example for what you would copy: /sound moo 0,4 ... ALWAYS PUT THE SOUND FIRST WITH NO SPACES IN FRONT OF IT!
Still in
Sometimes when you get disconnected from a chat then come back in it says your old person is still there. To end this put: /ns ghost nickname password. It only works if you are registered, however.
Name changing
If you change your name on the site, but you have already been registered, you can get unregistered and reregister again. To be unregistered type /ns drop nickname, but only if you are logged in as the old one. It shouldnt ask you for your password if you ever use the old one again.

This command allow Quick Chat to get all server information for an specific nick, such as registration date, last time seen, owner's user@hostmask, also the information the users entered with the field command. Type /ns info nickname. This may help us find some stuff about the person.
Changing Password
Sometimes when the box pops up to enter your password you accidentally type it in the speaking box. That is why you should always click ok instead of pushing enter. But, if you forget, and you tell the whole chat your password, dont worry, you can change your password. Just type /ns set oldpassword newpassword
Website url
Have a really cool website to share with the rest of the chat? Just type /ns set url http://yoursite.com. It will add that to your nickname info.
Change email
This command allows you to change your email in your /ns info yournickname. Type /ns set email newemail.
Show email
If a user wishes his/her email to be seen by other uses, he/she should turn it on. Type /ns set showemail on/off.
